Founder
Joshua Mercer is a serial entrepreneur, real estate investor, and financial education advocate. A graduate of Howard University with a master’s degree in education from National Louis University, he began his career as an award-winning entrepreneurship teacher in Chicago Public Schools, where his students earned top finishes nationally and in multiple regional business competitions. Joshua is the founder of The Mercer Insurance Agency, which manages over $12 million in policies, and he is a licensed realtor and real estate investor who owns more than 140 rental units, including hospitality assets.
Drawing from his experience in education, entrepreneurship, and investing, Joshua founded Go Fish Village to help individuals and communities achieve financial freedom through business ownership, real estate investing, and financial literacy.
